Shock add receiver

Verran Tucker, a wide receiver who has played 19 games in the NFL with the Kansas City Chiefs, has been added by the Spokane Shock, the AFL team announced.

Tucker, a former California Bear, has more NFL experience than any player in Shock franchise history, the team announced. He was signed by Dallas in 2010. When the Cowboys released him, the Chiefs signed him. He played in 12 games for the Chiefs in 2010, starting two. He had six receptions for 114 yards and a touchdown. He played in four preseason games for the Chiefs in 2011.

The Shock open the AFL season in the Arena on March 12 against the Iowa Barnstormers.
