Domestic terrorist Harpham now calls California prison home
Domestic terrorist Kevin W. Harpham has a new home. The Federal Bureau of Prisons now lists him as an inmate the Herlong Correctional Institution in northern California.
Harpham, 37, pleaded guilty last year to attempted use of a weapon of mass destruction and targeting minorities with a bomb he left along the planned route of the 2011 Martin Luther King Jr. Unity March.
A federal judge recently rejected two requests by Harpham to withdraw his plea after his defense attorneys found a new expert.
According the Herlong prison’s website, Herlong is a medium security institution located near the border of Nevada and north of Reno.
It lists Harpham’s release date as Jan. 23, 2039.
