Obituary: Brown, Patricia A.

BROWN,
Patricia A.

A loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister went to be with the Lord on February 12, 2012.
Born on May 27, 1941 in Portland, OR, she had a dream as a child to own a horse and live on a farm.

Her dream was fulfilled.
Pat married Bob on February 14, 1958, and they raised their two daughters and a son on the family farm in North Spokane.

She enjoyed needlework and was an accomplished horsewoman, winning the 1989 title of “Top Money” in team cow-penning with the Intermountain Cow Penning Association.

Pat was a portrait colorist for Henle-Care while raising her children and most recently worked for Spokane County Elections.
She is survived by her husband Bob, her daughters Kathy Oens (Craig), Nancy Henry (Marcus), her son Kelly Brown (Frances) and her sister Christine Louden, as well as seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Her patience and unconditional love made her the center of the family and she will be missed dearly.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until 8:00 pm on Friday, February 17, 2012 at HAZEN & JAEGER FUNERAL HOME, 1306 N. Monroe, Spokane, WA.
Funeral Services, led by Pastor Dan Green, will begin at 11:30 at Family of Faith Community Church, located at 712 W. Nora, Spokane, with graveside services immediately after at Greenwood Memorial Terrace, 211 N. Government Way, Spokane.

A Celebration of Life will follow at Wandermere Golf Course.
In lieu of flowers the family wishes that donations be made to the Spokane Guild School located at 2118 W. Garland Ave. Spokane, WA 99205.
