NEAL, Leo G.
(Age 89)

Passed away February 12, 2012, in Spokane, WA.

Leo was born on February 14, 1922, in Goodland, KS.

He was the son of Bertha and Lester Neal.

Leo is survived by his wife of 69 years, Dorothy; daughter, JoAnne Bone and husband, Terry; son, Michael C. Neal and wife, Wanda; daughter, Debbie Neal; ten grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Leo was raised in Belleville, KS, and was a veteran of WWII, serving in the Army Air Force in a rescue unit flying over the Hump in India.

He graduated from Colorado University, Boulder, CO, in 1950.

He was one of four founders of Vetsville on the Colorado Campus; he also was a member of Sigma Nu.

Leo retired in 1994 as a financial planner, working with several large brokerage firms during his career.

Prior to that, he worked in Aerospace on the Apollo Space Program for MacDonald-Douglas in Long Beach, CA.

Leo was a member of the Masons and Shriners.

He enjoyed golf and watching football.

Leo was extremely devoted to his family and known for his trustworthiness.

Leo will be missed dearly by his family.

Private family services will be held by his family.
