Compare facts on budget plans
A suggestion since House Republicans “are preparing their version of Obama’s budget … ”: I would like to see one or more analysis articles outlining their proposals, including specific cuts, impact on government and individuals and benefits. In short, the pros and cons.
A similar analysis of President Barack Obama’s budget would be fair, and both would offer citizens a rational chance to compare proposed solutions.
The election year presents a chance to consider, fairly, two (at least) different and competing strategies. With so much at stake, voters should have the opportunity to inform themselves, and not just have inflated rhetoric as a basis to choose.

The House Budget has specific details and can be hammered
for what it does and doesn’t do. (Like last years House Kill-
Grandma Budget.
The Obama Budget Realizes Huge Savings from not spending
money on expenses we don’t want to have…like Afghan War.
Not having an expense is considered deficit-reduction in this
school of Accounting. (TinkerBell School of Finance)
The Senate Budget is a super-secret Budget that citizens are not
allowed to see/analyze/or consider. It is for Obama’s eyes-only
and if you even inquire about it you will be justly hammered
by NBC-MSNBC and CBS. Two years ago CNN said “where is the
Senate Budget” ? …and they were sent to their room.
