Passed away February 20, 2012, in Spokane Valley, Washington.
She was born March 23, 1938, in Everett, Washington to Ralph and Claire Korsborn.
She was a talented singer; loved animals and her family.
She moved around the United States with her husband and children during his Coast Guard career.
Barbara is survived by her husband of 55 years, Thomas Okerstrom; son, Carl; daughter Julie McKenna of Liberty Lake; daughter-in-law, Chris (George) Thorne; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; brother John Korsborn.
She is preceded in death by her parents; son Chris Okerstrom.
A celebration of Barbara’s life will be held Thursday, February 23, 2012, 11:00 AM, at Community Cremation Service Spokane Valley.
