Coming up: Idaho Vandals

RECORD: 16-11 overall, 7-4 WAC

COMING UP: Friday at Utah State, 6:05 p.m. (ESPN3)

OUTLOOK: Standing in the way of Idaho’s sixth straight win is Utah State, which saw its bid for five consecutive regular-season WAC titles end weeks ago. The Aggies (14-14, 5-6) have dropped more games than in any of coach Stew Morrill’s previous 13 seasons in Logan and have lost two of their last three at the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum. “If we ever have a chance to get them, maybe it’s this year,” said Idaho coach Don Verlin, an assistant under Morrill at USU and Colorado State for 15 years. The Vandals are looking for two wins over Utah State in the same season for the first time since 1957. They last won at Utah State in 2003.
