GIAMPIETRI, Victor J.
April 1929 to February 2012 (Age 82)

He peacefully passed away on February 18, 2012 surrounded by his family.

He was born in 1929 to Sam and Jenny Giampietri.

He married Jody Naccarato on November 8, 1952.

He served 4 years in the US Navy during the Korean War, served 21 years on the Spokane Fire Department and retired as a Fire Captain in 1979.

He worked for the Spokane Firefighters Credit Union for 30 years and managed it for 10 - until he retired in 1991.

He served on the board of directors for Stoneridge Condominiums for over 20 years.



He loved to hunt and play golf, and you could find him in the winter months in the Poker Room in Las Vegas.

He was survived by his wife Jody of 59 years, by his two sons Mike (Lori), John (Debbie), and daughter Vicki.

He had five grandchildren, Angela, Melissa, Lindsay, Connor and Jarred, one great-granddaughter Elliana, two step-grandchildren, and six step great-grandchildren.

He is also survived by two sisters Yolanda DeFelice and Darlene (Larry) Koehler, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers David and Gabe, sisters Louise, Esther, and Loretta.



We will be holding a memorial service at St. Aloysius Catholic Church at 330 E. Boone Ave at 11:00AM on Saturday February 25, 2012.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Hospice of Spokane at 367 E. 7th Avenue Spokane, WA 99202.
He will be greatly missed by both family and friends.
