CV teachers earn board certification

 

Seven teachers in the Central Valley School District have earned National Board Certification, bringing the total of nationally certified teachers in the district to 51.

Teachers with this credential study for months in advance of the test and receive a stipend once certification has been earned. Certification is valid for 10 years.

The latest teachers to reach this achievement are Taunya Luckey of Bowdish Middle School; Kacie Hoard, Erika Krumpelman and Adrienne Schoenberg of Central Valley High School; Cheryl Holm and Jason Putz of Greenacres Middle School; and Mary Hansen of University High School.
