Carol was born in Devil’s Lake, ND on January 5, 1935 to Robert and Hilda Schultz; she was raised in the Weaver, ND area, Banner Township.
Carol graduated from St. Mary’s Academy in Devil’s Lake, ND in 1952.
She married Leonard Peterson in 1954.
Carol moved with her husband to Spokane, WA in 1958.
She loved being with her family and friends, she also enjoyed listening to music, watching TV, and baking.
She is survived by Ruth Schultz, her daughters, Connie Peterson, Mary Peterson, Cheryl (Fred) Goldberg, Lori Kelly, Holly (Kenny) Bolles, and Donna (Brad) Southard.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Paul, Sandra, Jennifer, Sarah, Kirt, Brad, Leah, Josh, April; great-granddaughters, Ryah, Darbee, Elliott, and Natalie; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Carol is preceded in death by her husband, Leonard who passed away in 2004; her parents; two sisters; four brothers; and her aunt Isabell Weber.
A private graveside service will be held for family members at Fairmount Memorial Park.
