J.
William “Bill” Gillis passed away February 14, 2012 after a long battle with cancer.
He was born March 12, 1933 to Joseph H. and Hazel Gillis in Spokane, WA, where he attended Rogers High School and Gonzaga University.
He was retired from WSDOT and Navy
Seabees.
He is survived by his sister, Irene; wife, Kathy, and four children, Bill, Jerry, Dan and Jodie; two stepsons, Robert and Gary; 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
He attended Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1925 Boulevard Rd.
S.E., Olympia, WA 98501, where services will be held Saturday, March 3, 2012 at 2:00 p.m.
Donations may be made to Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research, Westminster Memorial Fund, or Assured Home Health and Hospice.
