Moved to a reserve role for the start of Pac-12 Conference play, Washington guard C.J. Wilcox responded by matching his career-high with 24 points, and the Huskies improved to 2-0 to start the conference season with a 76-60 win over Oregon on Saturday night in Seattle.

Wilcox was shuttled to the bench earlier this week as a way to get freshman Tony Wroten and 7-footer Aziz N’Diaye in the starting lineup together. Wilcox still came through with his highest point total since scoring 24 last season against UCLA. He scored 13 during a key second-half run for Washington (8-5, 2-0 Pac-12) after the Ducks had trimmed a double-digit deficit down to four.

E.J. Singler led Oregon (10-4, 1-1) with 20 points, 13 coming in the first half. But the Ducks shot just 32 percent.

In his first game coming off the bench this season on Thursday night, Wilcox ended up playing 30 minutes and finished with 15 points. He was even more dynamic on Saturday, matching his career high with six 3-pointers and leading four Huskies in double figures.

Wroten added 17 points, five assists and four rebounds, while Abdul Gaddy added 12 points and Terrance Ross had 11. Washington shot nearly 54 percent for the game.

California 85, UCLA 69: Allen Crabbe scored 20 points, including four 3-pointers, and the Golden Bears (12-3, 2-0) beat the Bruins (7-7, 0-2) at Berkeley, Calif., to pull off their first home sweep of the Los Angeles schools in eight years and stay undefeated at home.

Jorge Gutierrez had 16 points and eight assists, freshman David Kravish scored a career-best 13 points and Justin Cobbs added 13 points and a career-high eight assists as Cal shot a season-high 65 percent from the field. Crabbe, who added six assists and five rebounds, had five points during a decisive run to start the second half as the Golden Bears pulled away.

Arizona 68, Arizona State 51: The defending conference regular-season champion Wildcats (10-4, 1-0) got 16 points from Jesse Perry and 14 from Nick Johnson, taking control early and beating the Sun Devils (4-9, 0-1) at Tucson, Ariz.

Colorado 73, Utah 33: Freshman Spencer Dinwiddie scored a career-best 19 points, and the Buffaloes (9-4, 1-0) beat the Utes (3-10, 0-1) at Boulder, Colo.

Stanford 51, Southern California 43: Aaron Bright scored seven of his game-high 16 points in the final 4:43 to help the Cardinal (12-2, 2-0) beat the Trojans (5-10, 0-2) at Stanford, Calif.
