Valley police investigate death of 2-month-old child
Spokane Valley police are investigating the death of a 2-month-old child.
Deputies responded to a home in the 11600 block of East Broadway Avenue about 9:30 a.m. today after a medic reported an infant who was not breathing, said Mark Gregory, spokesman for the Spokane Valley Police Department.
The baby was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead shortly after. Detectives were called to the scene and continue to investigate.
An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday. Police would not release further details.
