OUTLOOK: The Vandals enter the WAC portion of their schedule on a three-game slide. But each loss came down to the final possession – UI’s four setbacks in December were by a total of nine points – and the club’s confidence still seems intact. Tonight Idaho faces what figures to be the league’s elite team in Nevada, which has won seven straight and is led by Malik Story (14.2 ppg) and dynamite sophomore point guard Deonte Burton (14 ppg). The Vandals also host Fresno State, which is on a three-game winning streak. Idaho is 13th in the nation in field-goal percentage (.495) and leads the WAC in 3-point percentage (.393).
