Coming up: Washington State Cougars

RECORD: 9-5 overall, 1-1 Pac-12

COMING UP: Tonight at Utah, 6; Saturday at Colorado, 1 p.m. (Root)

OUTLOOK: A once-proud Utah program is in complete disarray as it trudges through its first year of Pac-12 membership. The Utes (3-10, 0-1) are coming off a 73-33 loss to Colorado. They’ve beaten just two Division-I teams, Portland and Idaho State, and narrowly escaped with a 58-55 win over NAIA opponent San Diego Christian to open the season. Senior guard Josh Watkins leads the team with 15.1 points per game. Jason Washburn averages 11.2 points and 7.1 rebounds. Colorado rides a four-game winning streak into tonight’s game against Washington. Guard Andre Roberson, 6-foot-7, could give WSU fits. He averages 12.1 points and 12 rebounds per game.
