Dozens of cats were removed from a home on the 4200 block of North Addison Street; the location was incorrect in a Jan. 5 story on page A5, due to reporter error.

Boeing plant closure job effect uncertain

In a story Jan. 5 about Boeing Co.’s announcement that it is closing its plant in Wichita, Kan., wire reports erroneously said the closure will cost about 2,100 workers their jobs. An unspecified number of those workers will be allowed to transfer to the company’s plants in other states.
