What would Lincoln think?

Why do people who are able but unwilling to work and those in this country illegally have better medical coverage than those of us who work for a living?

How can health insurance companies make record profits (Health Care for America Now blog, February 2010) in a down-turned economy? These profits increase our medical costs.

Why do medical practitioners have to pay outrageous premiums for liability insurance?

Why do I never hear any politicians talking about tort reform that would limit that liability and lower everyone’s costs?

Why does nobody care that the shrinking middle class is getting poorer but having to bear more and more of the costs of running our government?

Why is our government obsessed with helping the rich get richer? So they can increase jobs in places like China, India, Indonesia and Mexico?

I wonder what Abraham Lincoln would think if he saw America had become, “Of the rich, by the rich and for the rich”?
