Group offers scholarship aid session
Pride Foundation, the largest funder of scholarships for gay, bisexual and transgender students and supporters in the nation, will offer a drop-in session to help students write or revise their scholarship essays and offer support from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Jan. 20 at the Inland Northwest LGBT Center, 1522 N. Washington St., Suite 102.
Pride Foundation scholarships fund any type of post-secondary education from an accredited institution, including a traditional four-year college or vocational or technical school.
Scholarship applications can be found online at www.pridefoundation.org. The deadline is Jan. 31 at 5 p.m.
