GREELEY, Colo. – Tate Unruh hit two free throws with 12 seconds remaining Saturday to lift Northern Colorado to a 71-70 Big Sky Conference victory over Eastern Washington. Unruh’s free throws came as a result of a technical foul called on Eastern’s Collin Chiverton, who, with 12 seconds to play, called a timeout the Eagles didn’t have. After Unruh’s free throws, the Eagles (9-9, 3-3) did not get off a shot, as Tim Huskisson made a steal for the Bears. Chiverton scored 21 points on 7-of-13 shooting, including 5 of 9 3-pointers.
