COMING UP: Saturday vs. Utah St., 8:05 p.m.

OUTLOOK: The next three games, all at home, should give the Vandals a good feel for where they sit in the WAC. After the two-week homestand, UI will be halfway through its conference slate with games against each of the seven other WAC clubs. Idaho and Utah State (10-8, 2-2) are two games behind league-leading Nevada – and both dropped games to the Wolf Pack and New Mexico State. Last year the Vandals pulled off a big coup by upending USU, nationally ranked at the time, at Cowan Spectrum. But the Aggies have lost five of their top six scorers from that team to graduation or injury and don’t look to be a WAC title contender for the first time in years.
