Crashes continue as ice persists

The entire highway was blocked due to the accident, and ISP asks drivers avoid that area. KHQ-TV reports that a semi-truck driver died in the accident. — A driver on U.S. 95 at Putnam Road lost control of her vehicle, hit a concrete barrier and flipped, ISP reported. The woman was taken to Kootenai Medical Center with unknown injuries. — Washington State Route 25 was closed much of the morning between Davenport and the Spokane River because of adverse driving conditions. The road was re-opened around 11 a.m. this morning.
