Coming up: Idaho Vandals

RECORD: 10-9, 3-2 WAC

COMING UP: Tonight vs. San Jose State, 7:05; Saturday vs. Hawaii, 8:05 p.m. (ESPN3)

OUTLOOK: Early in the season the Vandals looked overwhelmed in late-game situations. But coach Don Verlin said Idaho “is getting more seasoned” – as evidenced by down-to-the-wire wins in three of its last four games. “I think the thing that this team is really doing is it’s really maturing,” he said. “They play well with each other. And now we’re really starting to fight together.” UI finishes up a two-week homestand with games against last-place San Jose State and Hawaii. The Warriors lost by three to Nevada and edged New Mexico State by four. SJSU leads the WAC in made 3-pointers per game (8.3) and assist-to-turnover ratio (1.13).
