Moos, Reardan remain perfect

What’s scary for the rest of the Bi-County 2B League is that Kelsey Moos is only a junior.

Moos had 31 points, 19 rebounds and seven steals as Reardan kept its perfect season intact with a 65-43 win over Colfax on Friday night in Reardan.

The defending state champion Indians led by 13 points at the half and sealed the deal with a 19-8 third quarter.

Katy Burge had 11 points and eight rebounds and Chantel Heath added 11 points and five assists for Reardan (16-0, 12-0).

The Bulldogs (9-6, 8-3) got a team-high 13 points from Hannah Harazin.

St. George’s 34, Lind-Ritzville/Sprague 29: Alex Wert scored eight of her game-high 15 points in the fourth quarter as the Dragons (7-9, 6-6) stormed past the host Broncos (8-7, 5-7). Davi Killian tallied a team-high 10 points for Lind-Ritzville/Sprague.

Davenport 58, Springdale 36: Miranda Mielke had 33 points, 13 steals, eight rebounds and three assists as the Gorillas (8-7, 6-6) routed the visiting Chargers (4-12, 4-8). Maranda Brantley added seven points, six boards and four steals for Davenport, which forced Springdale into 40 turnovers. The Chargers were led by Skyla Hall’s 14 points.

Kettle Falls 57, Liberty 33: Josie Stanard had 19 points, six rebounds and five steals as the Bulldogs (5-11, 4-8) routed the visiting Lancers (0-16, 0-13). Aly Tee led the Lancers with 16 points.

IEL 4A

Lakeland 47, Sandpoint 33: Cieana Close led a balanced attack with 12 points as the Hawks (11-9, 2-2) jumped ahead early and beat the host Bulldogs (8-11, 0-4). Hailey Olin had 16 points and seven rebounds for Sandpoint.

Intermountain

Bonners Ferry 64, Kellogg 37: The Badgers (7-9, 3-2) took control in the first half and cruised past the host Wildcats (8-8, 2-4). Savannah Woods had 11 points for Bonners Ferry. Kellogg was led by Kelsey Carter’s 10 points.

Great Northern

East Valley 48, Deer Park 40: Alicia Christiansen scored 15 points as the Knights (9-7, 5-3) erased a seven-point halftime deficit to beat the host Stags (10-7, 6-3). EV outscored Deer Park 24-9 in the second half. Kimmie Brazington led the Stags with 10 points.

Cheney 56, Pullman 50: Allie Brown had 14 points to lead the Blackhawks (7-8, 4-3) past the visiting Greyhounds (6-9, 4-4). Emily Drake and Dakota Wickard had 11 each for Pullman.

Northeast A

Newport 48, Lakeside 30: Holly Malsbury had 11 points and nine rebounds as the Grizzlies (13-6, 4-5) used a dominating second quarter to get past the visiting Eagles (10-9, 5-4). Taylor Lewis chipped in 11 points and Miranda Frederick added 10 points, five assists and four steals for Newport, which outscored Lakeside 18-2 in the second quarter. Jenna Widman scored 10 for the Eagles.

Riverside 41, Chewelah 40: Jamie Hardy hit a 3-pointer with 30 seconds left and the Rams (7-12, 2-7) held on to beat the host Cougars (2-17, 0-9). Chewelah turned the ball over on its final possession. Courtney Davis had 15 points for Riverside and Sydnie Katzer scored 17 for Chewelah.

North Star

Lakeside 56, Mullan 33: Michelle Whaley had 11 points, 10 steals and four assists as the host Knights (5-6, 4-0) dumped the Tigers (0-6, 0-4) in Plummer. It was the first time in Whaley’s career that she’s led the team in scoring. Kami McKinnon had 16 points and Sydney Koenig had 10 points and 20 rebounds for Mullan.

Bi-County 1B

Almira/Coulee-Hartline 59, Odessa-Harrington 20: Kodi Noggles had 15 points and 11 rebounds and Madeline Isaak added 12 points and six assists as the Warriors (13-3, 5-0) routed the visiting Titans (7-11, 4-2). Cydnee Kieffer had nine points for Odessa-Harrington.

Valley Christian 37, St. Michael’s 34: Lindy Riggan had 17 points to lead the Panthers (5-9, 1-4) past the host Warriors (3-10, 0-4). Rosie Urann’s 10 points led St. Michael’s.

Panorama

Columbia 66, Republic 28: Elizabeth Larrew tallied a game-high 26 points to lead the Lions (18-1, 12-0) past the host Tigers (12-6, 4-1). Most of Larrew’s points came on midrange jumpers and fast-break layins. Brianna Brown and Alyssa Stout combined for 21 points for Republic.

Cusick 65, Northport 16: Caytlin Nenema led four players in double figures with 14 points as the Panthers (11-6, 7-4) routed the host Mustangs (1-16, 1-10). Lauren Nelson and Andrea Heinen added 11 points apiece for Cusick.

Selkirk 45, Wellpinit 37: Katie Couch scored 15 points to lead the Rangers (15-4, 9-3) past the visiting Redskins (6-12, 5-7) at Ione. Kyra Antone tallied a team-high 11 points for Wellpinit.

Southeast 1B

Rosalia 41, St. John-Endicott 34: Briann Maley had 24 points and eight rebounds as the Spartans (14-2, 9-1) got out to a fast start and held on to beat the host Eagles (8-6, 5-5). Rachel Gfeller and Devan Bafus scored eight points apiece for St. John-Endicott.

Colton 70, Tekoa-Oakesdale 29: Jenna Moser led three players in double figures with 17 points as the Wildcats (16-0, 10-0) overwhelmed the visiting Nighthawks (10-6, 7-4). Haley Moser had 13 points and Erin Weber chipped in 12 for Colton. Kimberly Groom led T-O with eight points.

LaCrosse-Washtucna 49, Touchet 33: Logan Harter scored 20 points to lead the Tigercats (3-14, 2-9) past the visiting Indians (4-10, 1-9). Josie Christopher and Kristen Warner had 14 points each for Touchet.

Nonleague

Clarkston 50, Lewiston 38: Jamie Weisner scored 10 of her game-high 24 points in the fourth quarter to lead the Bantams (14-1) past the Idaho 5A defending-champion Bengals (15-3) in Lewiston. Chelsea Waters led Lewiston with 19 points – 12 coming in the second half.

Moses Lake Christian 65, Wilbur-Creston 31: McKenna Walker scored 27 points as the Lions routed the host Wildcats (6-9). Kaelee Reed led Wilbur-Creston with 11 points.
