Invest in the community

Strong, vibrant schools are the center of a strong, vibrant community. When families relocate, they search first for top-rated schools. This is a strong indicator of good neighborhoods, thus a great place to live. Help keep Central Valley schools vibrant by voting yes for kids on Feb. 14. This is a replacement levy that will fund essential educational programs – those not funded by state or federal dollars – for our community’s students over the next three years.

These programs include extra- and co-curricular activities that help meet the needs of the whole child and keep students engaged, like bio-med and technical programs that are directly tied to our regional job market, helping to support the ever-changing need to keep current with technology, and keeping class sizes small.

Washington state does not fully fund education. Local levy funds are needed to complete the robust education that our students have traditionally enjoyed, and deserve. It is noted that our children are our future, so please invest a little in our future for a remarkable return – future citizens who will be managing our communities and our nation.
