Mead wraps up GSL gym championship

University put together its best performance of the season in a Greater Spokane League gymnastics makeup match on its home floor Monday night, but it wasn’t enough to derail Mead.

The Panthers, led by junior Cadie Pratt, who won the beam, floor and all-around, capped an unbeaten season with a 177.25-167.175 margin over the home-standing Titans to wrap up the GSL championship.

Shadle Park, led by senior Alana Norman, second in the all-around, was third at 165.45, followed by Mt. Spokane (153.775) and Ferris (153.225).

Victoria Moyer, a senior in her first year of high school gymnastics, gave Mead a sweep, winning bars and vault.
