Died tragically in an auto accident on June 25, 2012 in Spokane, WA.

Jim was born September 11, 1928 in Laurel Springs, NJ.

He served our country for 20 years with the U.S. Air Force where he was a refueling specialist.

Following his retirement he spent 20 years driving a city bus in Spokane.

Many will remember Jim for his generosity, operating Clancy’s Produce in Spokane’s West Central neighborhood for the last 20 years, and insisting that 100% of the receipts from the produce stand be given to charity.



Jim is survived by his wife of 35 years, Judy Clancy; two sisters; one brother; five children, Rene, Jim, Teresa, Jaymie, Brent; one step-daughter, Lisa; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, as well as many friends.

Private family services will be held at this time, with a community memorial service being planned for Jim’s birthday - September 11, 2012.
