SCHLIMMER, Robert A.
“Robby”
(Age 21)

Passed away on June 24, 2012 in Spokane, WA.

He was born on August 9, 1990 in Spokane, WA to Robert and Valerie Schlimmer.

He graduated from Davenport High School in 2009 where he was a 12-year senior.

During high school he played basketball, golf, and tennis.

He was a member of DECA and was voted Prom King during high school.

Robby was a former Boy Scout.

He participated in raising money for the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation by doing the “Walk for the Cure”.

He attended WSU, where he was a Tau Kappa Epsilon (TKE) Fraternity member.

He was pursuing a degree in Education and hoped to teach and coach basketball.

His love for his family, his teams, and his friends was evident to all who met him.

Robby is survived by his parents, Robert and Valerie Schlimmer at the home in Davenport, Washington; his maternal grandmother, Helen Vaughan; brother, Dennis Schlimmer, sister Jessica Houston and her husband, Ryan, two nephews, Treven and Connor Houston, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Robert and Esther Schlimmer and maternal grandfather Don Vaughan.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, July 2, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Strate Funeral Home, Davenport, Washington.

Pastor Tom Schenk will officiate.

Rob will lie-in-state at the Chapel of Strate Funeral Home, Davenport, WA on Sunday, July 1, 2012 from 3-5 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation: 9 S. Washington St. Ste 704, Spokane, WA 99201.
