Fourth of July – Riverfront Park – Independence Day festival. Spokane Jazz Orchestra, free Children’s Meadow by Numerica Credit Union, First Night Rising Stars Stage, fireworks display at dusk by Larry H. Miller dealerships. Fourth of July – Coeur d’Alene – Parade begins at 11 a.m. at 15th and Sherman followed by a daylong festival in Coeur d’Alene City Park. Fireworks over the lake at dusk. (208) 292-1635.

Priest Lake Fourth of July – All-day ice cream social and celebration at the Coolin Civic Center followed by fireworks at dusk at Hills Resort at Luby Bay or Grandview Resort at Reeder Bay on the Lake.

Priest River Fireworks Celebration – 10 p.m. at Bonner Park, downtown over the Pend Oreille River.

Silver Valley Independence Day Celebration – Firecracker 5K Fun Run registration at 7:30 a.m., race begins at 9 a.m. at Kellogg Middle School, 800 Bunker Ave. Elks Pancake breakfast from 8:30-11:30 a.m. at the lodge. Daylong activities follow. Fireworks at dusk at Silver Mountain, viewable from downtown Kellogg.

Fourth of July in Pullman – Family events, children’s activities, food, vendors, live entertainment beginning at 5:30 p.m. and fireworks at dusk. The Singing Nuns Dessert Social and Concert – Gate opens at 7 p.m. with tours beginning at 7:15 p.m. Concert by The Singing Nuns at 8:30 p.m. View Spokane fireworks show about 10:20 p.m. There are no reservations, just pay at the gate. Fourth of July in Greenacres – Highlights include a children’s parade around the park at 11:30 a.m., family games at 2 p.m., potluck picnic at 5 p.m., a concert by Face to Face at 6 p.m. and a family movie at dusk.
