(Age 80)

A longtime resident of Spokane entered into rest on June 30, 2012.

He was born on March 9, 1932 in Coeur d’Alene, ID to parents Newton and Ruth McCallum.

Bruce attended high school in Montana, graduating from St. Regis High School in 1951.

He entered the Navy in 1952 and served his country proudly during the Korean War.

Bruce married his loving wife, Louise, in 1960 and together they shared 39 wonderful years before her passing in 1999.

Bruce worked as an electrician for American Sign and Indicator for many years.

He enjoyed bowling, playing pool, coins, music, and literature.

Bruce is survived by his sister, Myrna (Tim) Weston of Yelm, WA; stepchildren, Rita (Dave) Bergeson of Bayview, ID, Sharon (Frank) Staddler, Judy Jones, Dave (Sue) Senter; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise and his brother, Newton.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 5 from 12 Noon - 5:00PM at RIPLINGER FUNERAL HOME 4305 N. DIVISION SPOKANE, WA.

A “Celebration of Life” will begin at 11:00AM on Friday, July 6, 2012 at the Pines Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel, 1402 S. Pines Rd., Spokane Valley followed by interment with military honors.
