Passed away Saturday, June 30, 2012 at Riverview Care Center in Spokane. He was 95. He was born March 14, 1917 in Kansas City, MO to William and Sophia Nussbaum Wiese and spent his early years growing up there. Bill married Frances Evelyn Moore May 1, 1937. They made their home at a cabin on Lake Tapawingo, near Blue Springs, MO. Bill transformed the cabin into a permanent home where they raised their two daughters, Billie and Carol. He was born March 14, 1917 in Kansas City, MO to William and Sophia Nussbaum Wiese and spent his early years growing up there. Bill married Frances Evelyn Moore May 1, 1937. They made their home at a cabin on Lake Tapawingo, near Blue Springs, MO. Bill transformed the cabin into a permanent home where they raised their two daughters, Billie and Carol. For many years Bill was employed as an electrician in an oil refinery. In 1979 he and Frances moved to Branson, MO where they enjoyed square and round dancing. They moved to Spokane in 1995 to be closer to family and after 58 years of marriage, Frances passed away soon thereafter. William married Bea Stevenson in Spokane in 1999. They enjoyed golf and winters in Arizona. Bill is survived by daughters Billie (Frank) Watson of St. John, WA and Carol (Ken) Gibson of Missoula, MT. Four grandchildren are Billie and Frank’s two children Renee’ (Alan) Bruess of Medical Lake, WA, and Eric (Marieke) Watson of Redmond, WA; and Carol and Ken’s two children Lyndee (Rod) Sperry of West Jordan, UT, and Keith (Jocelin) Gibson of Providence, UT. Bill and Frances had 11 great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at Riverview Terrace Chapel at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, July 10, 2012. Private interment will precede the service at the Fairmount Memorial Park in Spokane. The family suggests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society. On-line guest book is at
