Driver flees scene in single-car rollover
The driver fled the scene Wednesday night after a single-car accident south of Kettle Falls in which two teenage boys were injured.
A 2001 Ford Windstar was headed north on state Highway 25 shortly before 7 p.m. when it left the road to the right, swerved back and forth, then went off the road and rolled, a news release from the Washington State Patrol said.
The age and gender of the driver were not released. Both passengers were 14-year-old boys. One was taken to Mt. Carmel Hospital in Stevens County; the other to Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane.
The WSP said drugs or alcohol were involved in the accident.
