Freeman students place at FBLA national conference

The Freeman High School chapter of Future Business Leaders of America sent five of its members to the National FBLA Leadership Conference in San Antonio. Each of the students qualified at the state level by finishing in first or second place.

Cody Dickinson and Gregory Ruby finished in 10th place at the national level in the network design event.

Others from the group who participated were Bethany Williams in public speaking 1, Grace Rudy in hospitality management and Moriah Longhurst in introduction to business communications.

“It was great to see Cody and Gregory finish in the top 10,” said adviser Scott Moore. “It is very difficult to make it on stage and I was extremely pleased to see the seniors end their FBLA journey in that fashion.”
