Same-sex support is sad

I am very saddened that on the anniversary of our great nation’s birthday there is yet another assault upon the biblical principles upon which our country was founded. One by one these principles are being eroded, and the pace with which they are disappearing is becoming breathtakingly fast.

Microsoft has donated $125,000 toward the vote that will be held in November on whether same-sex marriages will be legal in our state. According to The Spokesman-Review (July 3), “Microsoft is just one of several prominent Pacific Northwest businesses that have expressed their support for same-sex marriage, including Amazon, Starbucks Corp., and Nike Inc.”

I am asking all of us to examine our consciences and resist being swept away by the prevailing winds of current politics. Read the following Bible verses: Romans 1:24-29. It is time to speak out and stand up for our beliefs!
