Appreciate variety of opinions

My favorite section of The Spokesman-Review is the editorial page with letters to the editor. As the saying goes: Opinions are like noses; everybody has one.

When I read the various letters, I realize that everyone may not have the education I was blessed to have, or may use various fallacies in reasoning, but they make me realize the truth: Everyone does not think the way I do (poor things).

I do believe the editor balances the opinions and arguments very well. I just wish everyone would think the way I do. But then what a boring world this would be. Keep up the great work, Bert Caldwell and Gary Crooks.
