BAYER, Mary
(Age 52)

Mary earned her wings on July 7th, 2012.

She is preceded by her Father, Allen Zoesch, and brother, Timothy Zoesch, both of Spokane WA.

She is survived by her loving husband, George Bayer of Elk, WA; Mother, Jeanette Zoesch of Spokane WA; son, Jerramie Ethredge (wife, Molly); daughter, Malia Ethredge (Abraham Woods) of Spokane WA; four stepchildren, Daniel Bayer, Rock Bayer, Saundra Bayer, and Al Bayer; her eight siblings and their spouses, Sharron and Steve Gump, Jan Zoesch, Larry and Sherri Zoesch, Dan and Margaret Zoesch, Jim and Beth Zoesch, Kathy and Glen Cambpell, Terry and Julie Zoesch, and Bill Zoesch; numerous nieces and nephews; and last, but not least, her Grandchildren, Kylie Mae Ethredge, Lilly and Zoe Dittmer, Cody, Sierra, Breanna, Dominick, Jayce, and Molly Jean Bayer.

Mary was a woman whose love and passion could encompass the world.

Her job in life was to serve her community as a volunteer firefighter, fire educator, school volunteer, and what she considered her most important job, as a “Domestic Engineer.”

She was always there for anyone in need with an outstretched hand to hold on to, ear to listen, and kind words to help uplift any spirit.

She lived by the commandment to love one another as I have loved you.

Mary’s positive attitude and pure zest for life was an inspiration to everyone around her.

Her love, compassion, genuine heart, and hugs will be dearly missed by all the lives she touched.

Afterglow
I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one.
I’d like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done.
I’d like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways,
Of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days.
I’d like the tears of those who grieve to dry before the sun,
Of happy memories that I leave when life is done.
