Harold J. Sr.
(Age 94)

Passed away July 11, 2012.

Harold was born to George H. Wint and Louise (Bolin) Wint on August 8, 1917 in Morehead, MN.

He enlisted in the Army during WWII and went through boot camp at Fort Lewis, WA.

After the war he went to work on one end of a cross cut saw with his father-in-law falling timber.

He had a passion for logging and worked in the woods all his life, retiring from Boise Cascade in 1982.

After retiring from Boise he worked on his own logging projects until age 77.
Harold enjoyed hunting and fishing trips with his sons, grandsons and nephew Tom.
He is preceded in death by his first wife Julia; son-in-law Milton Wing; grandson Robert Wint; granddaughters Marilyn Wing and Christy Wint; brothers Russell, Arlie, Wilbert, Earl and Ernest Wint; sisters Sylvia, Olive Mae and Annie.
Harold is survived by his second wife Rosemary; daughter Delores Wing (Bob); sons Harold J. Wint Jr (Patricia), Arnold Wint (Sharon), Gary Wint; stepsons Wayne, Gary and Keith (Darcy) Christinsen; grandsons Dennis and Patrick Wing, Steve Wint (Angie), Jeffery Wint; granddaughters Julie and Kathy Wint; great-granddaughters Karissa and Gabreila Wint; three stepgrandsons; one stepgranddaughter; two great-stepgrandsons; and one great-stepgranddaughter.

He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
At his request no funeral well held.

We plan to have a memorial at a later date for family and friends.
