Spokane police investigating life-threatening stabbing
A woman was taken to a Spokane hospital late Monday with life-threatening wounds following a stabbing on East Pacific Avenue.
Spokane police responded to 4000 E. Pacific Ave. at 11:57 p.m. Monday after receiving a call that a woman had been stabbed and her leg had possibly been cut off, a news release from the police department said.
The perpetrators left the scene prior to officers’ arrival.
Officers found a woman with life-threatening wounds to her leg, head and hands. Police believe the incident is gang-related. Detectives from the Major Crimes and Gang units are investigating.
