Bill went to be with his Lord and Savior on July 12, 2012 after a long and courageous battle with kidney disease.

He was born on April 29, 1944 in Spokane, WA.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Carper; his mother Eleanora Juricek; and step-father Frank Juricek.


Bill was a warm and generous person who never met a stranger.

He loved the lord, his family and friends beyond measure.


Bill is survived by his wife of 45 years, Marcia; his wonderful daughters Michelle Kiehn and Julie Carper, his much-loved son-in-law, Bob Kiehn; as well as three beautiful granddaughters Kirsten, Kaitlin and Kenzie.

He also leaves behind his sisters Mary Lou (Ted) Huffman and Kathy Fritz; numerous nieces and nephews; sisters and brothers-in-law; his mother and father-in-law.


His family wants to express their gratitude to the staff at SHMC 5 North and ICU 2 South; Providence Kidney Care Center; Dr. Henry Mrock; NIACH; Family Home Care and Kelly, Jon and especially Pastor Monte LeLa Cheur.


Memorial donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation or the charity of your choice.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, July 18, 2012 from 7-9pm at Spokane Cremation & Funeral Service, 2832 N. Ruby St. A funeral service will be held at 11am on Thursday, July 19, 2012 at Turning Point Open Bible Church, 11911 N. Division St.
