THORMAHLEN, Larry R.
(Age 64)

Of Waverly, Washington passed away July 15, 2012 from a cancerous brain tumor.

He was born November 18, 1947 to Rudy and Eleanor Thormahlen in Spokane WA.

Larry was raised on the family farm in Waverly and was a graduate of Liberty High School where he played football and was a member of FFA.

Larry farmed with his father until he passed away in 2004.

Larry continued farming until his retirement in 2009.

He always had good crops of lentils, wheat and barley and enjoyed riding around the countryside watching the crops grow.

Harvest was always a special time and a lot of hard work from early morning till late at night.

Larry liked all sports, especially basketball, going to the Liberty Lancers games and the State B Tournament every year.

Larry was married to Naomi Wilbur from 1993 to 1999.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, Box 34829, Seattle, WA 98124-1829 in his memory.

He is survived by his mother; Eleanor of Spokane, WA.

Sister, Diane Wilson (Paul) of Newport, WA.

Nephew; Brad Wilson (Jenny Connor, and Isaac) of Coulee Dam, WA.

Niece; Penny Dillon and her son Spencer of Spokane, WA.

Aunt; Anne Clausen of Fairfield, WA.

and many cousins.

Private family burial at Rosewood Cemetery.
