Born March 23, 1936 to Frederick and Gladys Wells in Marysville, OH.
Passed away on July 17, 2012 to her Heavenly Father.
Long-time resident of the Elk-Chattaroy area with her beloved husband, Raymond L. Koontz, who passed away in 2009.
She worked as an executive secretary, Avon lady, foster parent and ran an Adult Family Home for developmentally disabled adults and youth.
Survived by children, Cathy L. Rose of Newman Lake, WA, and Christofer J. Chapman of Urbana, OH.
She has three surviving sisters, Martha Shape of North Lewisburg, OH, and Elizabeth Koch and Linda Abeyta of Las Vegas, NV.
Numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 23, 2012 at 10am at Thornhill Valley Chapel, 1400 S. Pines, Spokane Valley, WA.
Interment to take place in Valley, WA.
