Man arrested in Millwood hit and run
SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) — A 2-year-old girl is in serious condition at a Spokane-area hospital Sunday, and authorities have arrested a 22-year-old Spokane man suspected of felony hit and run.
The Spokane County Sheriff’s Office said that the girl was riding in a bicycle carrier trailer Saturday night, when she was hit by a car driven by suspected drunk driver. The car immediately left the scene.
A witness followed the car to an apartment complex and confronted the driver. Deputies arrived to investigate and arrested Timmy N. Nguyen, of Spokane, for investigation of felony hit and run and vehicular assault …

The girl has a skull and wrist fracture but is expected to recover.
