(Age 55)

Steven was born on December, 30th, 1956 in Spokane, WA.

He went into the arms of his Lord on July 13th, 2012, at his home in Redmond, WA after a courageous battle with Lou Gehrigs Disease (ALS).


He is survived by his parents, Ed and Pauline Carlson; sister, Lori and her husband, Justin Massey and Lori’s children, Nicholas, Cameron and Tara Dionne; Steve’s wife, Jude of 25 years; son, Cody and daughter Kim, and numerous family and friends.


He graduated from Spokane Falls Community College and from Rogers HS class of 1975.

He was an avid Bloomsday runner and owner of a successful Home Refinement business in Redmond.

His artistic ability was admired by all who had the honor of knowing him (Snoopy being a particular favorite).

Steve had a special way of making people around him laugh.

He adored his family and was an exceptional son, brother, husband, father and incredibly loyal friend.
A celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, August, 19th from 2:00 to 6:00 PM at his parents home.
