OTTOSEN, Ruth
(Age 94)
Of Fairfield, Washington was reunited with her loving husband, “Bert”, and her sons Chris and James on July 15, 2012.
She was born on August 6, 1917 to Leroy and Murial Fletcher.
She was graduate of Fairfield High School, class of 1935 and married Bert Ottosen, the love of her life, on August 7, 1935.
Together they raised a large family of 11 children; Robert (Barbara) Spokane, Virginia (George) Spokane, Dixie (Ray-deceased) Hermiston,, OR, Chris (deceased), Charles (Traute) Bremen, Germany, James (Kathy) deceased, John (Karin) Spokane, Frank (Robin) Fairfield, Maryann (Dale) Fairfield, Jerry (Pennie) Fairfield,and Terri (Don) Fairfield.
Ruth had 29 grandchildren, 59 great-grandchildren, 15 great-great-grandchildren.
Numerous nieces and nephews.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; Leroy and Murial, her loving husband; Bert, sons; Chris and James, sisters; Babe, Elnora, and Gwen, brother; Melvin, son-in-law; Ray, and has one surviving brother; Jack.
Ruth was a strong, loving woman who lived for her family and friends.
She is loved by so many and touched the heart of everyone she met.
She will be deeply missed by everyone.
A funeral service for Ruth will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 25, at the Presbyterian Church in Fairfield.
Burial will follow at Mt.
Hope Cemetery.
