Discount City, a retail seller of estate-sale merchandise, is taking 4,100 square feet in the Eagle Plaza strip at 14415 E. Sprague.

Owner Bart Bertholic first opened an outlet in Spokane Valley a year ago at 13524 E. Sprague. The new location will be in Space 1B at Eagle Plaza.

While the first store is open Tuesday through Saturday, the Eagle Plaza location is open only 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

His current merchandise includes household appliances, tools and furniture. Bertholic said he’s also selling about 150 ladders of different sizes.

Mike King and Earl Engle, both of NAI Black, were brokers for the deal.

New tenants for Valley center

Three new tenants have moved into space at the River View Corporate Center in Spokane Valley. They are:

• Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc. has moved into 1,500 square feet on the main level of the center.

The company was launched by Michael Craggett Jr. Until recently, Craggett worked with D.A. Davidson as a senior vice president and financial adviser.

• Wells Fargo Dealer Services is taking 8,500 square feet on the center’s second level and will move in next month.

The company provides a range of credit services for area vehicle dealerships. It will move from its Mirabeau Center offices in Spokane Valley.

• Osprey Insurance Agency has moved into 1,100 square feet at the center. It’s relocating from Redwood Plaza at 11707 E Sprague.

Washington Trust Bank adds space

Washington Trust Bank is leasing 18,000 square feet on the fifth level of the Holley Mason Building, 157 S. Howard.

The plan is for the bank to expand its current call center operations in that building, a press release said.

The relocation affects employees who work in the bank’s main building at 717 W. Sprague.
