Obituary: Chappell, Judith Marie

CHAPPELL, Judith Marie “Judy”

Her mind is clear, her spirit- with us always.

Judy went to be with the Lord on July 19, 2012.

Born and raised in Spokane, third child to Julia Burger (Milliron) and John M Milliron.

Judy married Norman Chappell and was blessed with eight children.

Judy enjoyed golf, bowling and traveling.

She also was a diehard football fan, watching as many games as she could every weekend.

She volunteered for many years with Cancer Care of Spokane and was always willing to get involved where ever she was needed.

Judy also spent over nine years caring for her mother when she became disabled from Alzheimer’s.

She was devoted to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, never missing a school play, soccer game or recital.

Judy is survived by husband Norman Chappell, children Christine Aman (Ross), Debbie Sicilia (Rick), Steve Chappell (Nancy), Donna Jones (Mark), Danny Chappell (Janell), Tony Chappell (Jennifer) and John Chappell (Dena), 19 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

She is also survived by her sister Jean Hays and her brother Patrick Milliron as well as several nephews and nieces.

Judy was preceded in death by her son Douglas, granddaughter Danielle, sisters Joanie and Julie, and brother Michael.

Mother was everything to us and admired by most for her genuine care and love for family and friends.

She was an amazing and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt.

Mom gave everything she had to everyone.

We cannot hold you here with us on earth-We can hold you in our hearts forever .
