Romney the best man
Kathleen Parker wrote (July 15), “If you read a headline or watched the news, most likely you’re aware that Romney was booed for saying he would repeal ‘Obamacare.’ What you may not know is that Romney also left the stage to a standing ovation.”
The media seem to be giving us only the screened “information” they want us to have. When voting, I don’t base my choice on a candidate’s sex, color, age or religion. I vote for the best person for the job. Our president has bypassed Congress to implement his policies.
He has said the Constitution is “a document that reflects some deep flaws in American culture,” even though he swore to uphold it. Barack Obama makes promises to get votes, with little regard to how he can carry them out or pay the costs.
His philosophy appears to be get the votes now and let someone else pay later. Our “leader” is driving America toward socialism. Think long and hard before you vote. Are you voting for personal benefits or for the long-term solutions to our economy and soaring national debt? We have a candidate who has experience and a desire to better America. Obama is not that man.
