Former Eagle in Olympics

Former Eastern Washington women’s basketball standout Julie Page was missing from our “local Olympians” report that ran in Thursday’s paper.

Page, a member of the Great Britain women’s basketball team, averaged 10.2 points and 5.1 rebounds during her college career at Eastern and was selected at the Big Sky Conference newcomer of the year in 2004 and first-team All-Big Sky in 2006.

Great Britain will compete in Group B, with its first contest against world No. 2 Australia on Saturday.
