Kill the filibuster
Sen. Mitch McConnell’s disingenuous concern for the anonymity of mega-donors tells us all we need to know about the Republican majority and its contempt for the average citizen.
I want to know who is buying my senator or congressional representative.
The filibuster needs to go, regardless of which party it benefits at any given time. Its damage to the democratic process far outweighs any benefit it conveys. This case is one of the clearest demonstrations of that fact to date. Yet again, we are subjected to minority rule.
Kill the filibuster. Do it now.
