Age 61

PATTERSON, Larry

Larry Patterson was born March 21, 1951, in Pasco, WA.

After a year battle with throat and lung cancer, Larry peacefully and painlessly passed away amongst his loved ones on May 26, 2012 in Spokane, WA at the age of 61.

Larry graduated college from Eastern Washington
University and maintained successful IT careers throughout Spokane, last of which was with One Main Financial.

Larry was preceded in death by Rex C. Patterson (father) Georgiana (Jana) Patterson (mother), and Jerry, his twin brother (‘94).

Larry’s other siblings include Robert (Skip), Kent, Gail, Don, Ron, and Steve.

Larry is survived by his four children - Christopher, Michael, Joseph, and Mary; grandchildren - Aiden and Sidny, girlfriend Linda Thaler, and many friends.

Those who knew and loved Larry will remember his disciplined, strong work ethic, charming humor, and love for all things digital.

One of his favorite hobbies was to work on his home and especially in his wood shop.

Larry’s recent purchase of a motorcycle brought him a lot of joy.

Larry loved spending time with his girlfriend Linda and his family.

Although a successful IT Specialist, Larry said he wished he could have helped people, especially within the cancer treatment community.

Even in the midst of sickness and pain, Larry was always humble and thankful to each and every person who helped treat his cancer and discomforts.

Thank you to everyone who reached out with their time and words of encouragement throughout this hard time.

Larry was a wonderful, intelligent and loving man who will be missed by many.

God has relieved his pain and he will finally live in comfort in the hands of God.

Donations may be made in Larry’s name to Habitat for Humanity or Hospice of Spokane.

Funeral services will be held Monday June 4, 2012 at St. Augustine’s Parish (428 W. 19th Ave.) at 11:00 am.

A reception will follow in the gym immediately following services.
