Betty was born in Spokane Washington and lived her whole life in Spokane.
She attended Rogers High School and married her high school sweet heart in 1941.
They were married for 60 years.
Her husband, Jack Cartwright preceded her in death in 2001.
Betty was a very dedicated wife, homemaker, and a wonderful mother.
Betty was a member of Hillyard Baptist Church for 80+ years.
Betty served as a Sunday school secretary, Sunday school teacher, and V.B.S.
worker.
She was very faithful to her Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ.
Betty is survived by her two sons, Robert Cartwright (Fran) of Lane Cove, New South Wales, Australia; Randy Cartwright (Debby) of Nine Mile Falls, WA; daughter Sharon Thurman (Ben) of Metaline Falls, WA; nine grandchildren; 19 great- grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held in her honor on Friday, June 8, 2012 at Hillyard Baptist Church at 1:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hillyard Baptist Church, 2121 E. Wabash Ave., Spokane, WA 99207.
Betty will be missed by family and friends.
